Aurora Film Society’s Grand Relocation Event at The Venue!

Hello all you wonderful moviegoers!

The Aurora Film Society is moving to a new screening location at The Venue in beautiful downtown Aurora (12 South Broadway Avenue / Route 25, Aurora, IL).

To celebrate, we’re inviting everyone to join us for our inaugural showing on Wednesday, January 15th when we will screen the delightful 1930s-set French farce “The Crime Is Mine” [2023] for free, gratis, and completely without admission!

So come one, come all, come subscribers and first-timers alike, and help the AFS celebrate our new home! Doors open at 6:30pm, and the show begins at 7:00pm.

We’re asking everyone to RSVP here:

But if you find yourself free on the day of the event, don’t let the lack of an RSVP prevent you from attending! (The more the merrier; a headcount just helps us plan.)

Got any DVDs sitting around the house gathering dust? Bring them to our movie swap! It’s simple: You bring them, we set them out on a table, and anyone who wants to take one can. At the end of April, any movies left will be sent to the BEAR Project on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. One of our board members has a relationship with their community and knows how much they love movies!
